Kidnapped.
Beach. Mountain. Beach. Thank you, Bulihan Boys & [G] Girls for this summer escapade. :)
Boyfriend kidnapped me and brought me with his friends to this beautiful and remote beach located in Calatagan, Batangas called Burot Beach. The place, though filled with families and kids, is kinda relaxing. There are rocky parts of the beach, part where dogs and garbage are also dipping in the water, and a part where there are boats and fishermen. :)
After spending a day, we went to the other part of Batangas, Anilao, to hike my dream mountain lol. It was hard to commute and to talk with the locals as everyone of them wants to earn money, I guess. We got to the jumpoff around 7pm, so it was really scary. We hiked and pitched our tents. We woke up 5:00 in the morning and saw fog everywhere. We immediately brought cameras and walked until we reached the peak. Speechless. Just watch the video. http://youtu.be/znfM-JUYJEM
We were supposed to rent a boat going to Sombrero Island, however locals from Anilao were so difficult to negotiate with. They made us wait for hours, but eventually the boat was not there yet. And so, we looked for a substitute island. We found it in front of Gulugod Baboy and we called it Cawayan Island. Hehe. We had fun chillin out and lookin underwater. All our disappointments and hatred were gone because of our amusement with Philpan Diving Resort which we named Cawayan Island, because we all agreed that it’s not really a beach, but just a place where the boats are placed. HAHA. But still, we enjoyed ourselves with lots of food and laughter. :p
This is an unforgettable three-day getaway. Tiring, but it was all worth it. Plus, I’ve achieved my timelapse video dream hihi.
I was just somehow thankful to my adventurous boyfie for always kidnapping me and bringing me everywhere hehe. I get to see beautiful places :)
